Record the details
Date, time, and exactly what you saw, heard, or smelled. Specific beats general — “heavy diesel odor and back-up alarms at 5:40 AM” carries more weight than “it was loud.”
Keep your evidence
Photos, video, and dust samples on snow or decks are powerful. Keep the originals with their timestamps; we may ask for them if the case moves forward.
We compile the record
Individual complaints are easy to dismiss. A dated log of many neighbors reporting the same conditions is what regulators and the Planning Commission have to answer to.
